ABOUT ME
Past, Present and Future
My name is Mohannad AlMazroa, a student from Saudi Arabia who is currently working in The Lunz Group. My knowledge, understanding and creative process have improved significantly. Throughout the semesters, I have developed skills I never knew I was capable of achieving, I have learned new ways to develop my architectural thoughts and ideas. Architecture has had a huge impact on my life.
One of my attributes as an innovative individual is that I am always thinking. Ever since I was young, I would be constantly thinking of new ways to do something, develop something, or create something. I have been always handy with my tools and would be fixing broken equipment, toys, and electronics for my friends and family. My love towards wanting to create has started at a young age, I wanted to pursue a career out of it.
I attended a couple of universities before landing at Drury, and I have discovered the passion I had for creativity. It all started with a sculpture class I took in San Francisco, I was doubting my ability to do well in class because I wasn’t sure I could create something in that context. However, during the time there, I sculpted human bodies and was capable to exceed my expectations. Since then, I knew I would be capable of completing anything that is thrown at me.
I decided to officially pursue a career in architecture, and that is when I was accepted to Drury Universities 5 year Architecture program. During my time here, I set a goal to challenge myself in every assignment, project, and tasks. So I gave my all in everything that was handed to me, and I’m still going. My goal for the remaining years is to not stop learning, understanding, and achieving.
