T0URISCAPES

In this project we were inspired by our surroundings and the challenges they face. This project is located in Aegina, Greece. The goal is to design a space to invite tourists and encourage locals to interact. The challenges I faced is to stay true to the island life and design something new for the tourist. My vision is to make a space where tourists would feel welcomed, and a place where the locals would feel at home. My design is bold, and in the same time in represents history. I designed a two floor platform where people can enjoy the view from different levels and still maintain some privacy doing that. The main spaces encourages people to interact and create a sense of privacy in the same time.
